Private events
Weddings & receptions
Only 25 km from Brussels, the château is an ideal setting for private events, in the warm atmosphere of a family home.
Weddings
The château is particularly well suited to weddings, with advantages few other venues can offer:
- a superb abbey chapel nearby: the couple and their guests can walk there and back;
- the romantic setting of a country house with tall, bright windows, surrounded by greenery;
- large terraces with a unique view over the French formal garden and the landscape park;
- the atmosphere of a house lived in by the same family since 1810, full of its memories;
- two beautiful bedrooms with bathrooms, available to the couple and their parents;
- ample parking in the beech avenue.
The château can host a wedding dinner for up to 110 guests and a reception for up to 300. For more guests, or for dancing, a marquee (and possibly a kitchen tent) must be added next to the château.
You are free to choose your caterer; we are happy to recommend caterers who know the house well.
The château's salons, grand staircase, park and beech avenue also make a beautiful setting for couples' photo sessions, before or after the big day, by reservation.
The château is always reserved as a whole: for the length of your event, the entire house is yours.

Receptions
Like weddings, the château is ideal for lunches, dinners and receptions: birthdays, family celebrations, first communions, christenings… Dancing parties are not permitted inside the château.

Private concerts
The grand salon readily becomes a concert hall: a piano or chamber music recital for your guests, for a birthday, a family celebration or an evening with friends, followed by drinks or dinner in the suite of salons.
Cultural events
The château and its park lend themselves to cultural, artistic and country events. Past successes include:
- musical walks organised by ASMAE;
- the Décodélices open-air fair of antiques, crafts and horticulture;
- theatre for small audiences (up to 90 people);
- concerts in the neighbouring abbey chapel, followed by a reception at the château;
- for many years, the « Nuit des Chœurs » in the park;
- the « Family Garden's Days »;
- the operas « Don Giovanni » and « La Bohème ».
